WRESTLING: ON TO STATE!

This past Saturday, Feb 15th, 10 of our wrestlers competed in the State Qualifiers at Freeman High School which is a great accomplishment.

After a fierce day of competition, CONGRATULATIONS to 7 of our wrestlers qualified for STATE and will head to the TACOMA DOME where STATE competition will begin Friday, Feb 21st and conclude on Sunday, Feb 23rd.

From Saturday's Feb 15th State Qualifying event, the top 9 wrestlers at each weight class advance to State.

The 7 wresters from NWC that will be representing us at STATE are...

106- Caden Moden placed 8th and scored 2.0 team points.

113- Micah Rocha placed 1st and scored 36.0 team points.

120- Chase Schumacher placed 7th and scored 6.0 team points.

126-Nakoa Rocha placed 3rd and scored 27.5 team points.

126- David Phillips placed 7th and scored 13.0 team points.

132- Ryder Harmon placed 8th and scored 9.0 team points.

157- Hudson Somes placed 4th and scored 22.0 team points.

Great job also to our 4 wrestlers who did not make it but competed well: 138- Nik Bakhtin (finished 10th), 165- Corban Benson, and 175- Brandt O'Laughlin.
