KayDee Fisher
KayDee Fisher has coached basketball at the youth, middle school, sub-varsity, and varsity levels throughout the Spokane area and is passionate about developing confident, competitive, and emotionally resilient athletes. She spent five years coaching in the Mead High School girls' basketball program as a varsity assistant coach, along with two years serving as a C-team head coach, helping contribute to one of the top girls' basketball programs in the state and supporting a culture that consistently competed at a championship level. In addition to her high school coaching experience, KayDee has served as a freshman boys coach and head 6th-grade boys basketball coach at Northwood Middle School.
Coach Fisher has worked multiple summers with NBC Basketball Camps. In the summer of 2025, she led an NBC high school basketball tour through London. She has also attended the NCAA Women’s Basketball Coaches Conventions in 2022 and 2023, where she learned from some of the top coaches in the country on topics including practice design, player development, leadership, and culture-building.
KayDee studied psychology and theology when she attended Whitworth University.
KayDee worked for 2 years in the athletic department and spent 4 years serving in campus ministry as an Outreach and Athletic Ministry Coordinator. In those roles, Coach Fisher helped lead student outreach initiatives, mentor college athletes, and create opportunities for leadership and spiritual development within athletic communities. KayDee is passionate about her faith and her ability to coach is a school that is Christ-centered. Coach Fisher's background in psychology, ministry, and athletics has shaped her holistic approach to coaching, emphasizing emotional intelligence, excellence in competition, and the importance of building strong team culture. KayDee is currently subbing in the Mead School District.
