Amie was born and raised in Spokane. Amie developed a love for running beginning in third grade. A 2-mile State Champion, she held several school records in distance track events for 25 years, earned a collegiate running scholarship to Eastern Washington University, and was later inducted into her high school Hall of Fame.

Amie enjoys giving back to the sport through coaching, having led an elementary cross country for several years and most recently served as an assistant coach at NWCS. Married for 20 years and blessed with two children, she seeks to live out her faith in Christ by modeling perseverance, integrity, and servant leadership to students. In her free time, Amie enjoys playing in our beautiful Pacific Northwest through running and skiing.
