I was born and raised in Colbert, WA attending private Catholic grade school, St. Thomas More where I played basketball on the school team but also played AAU basketball.  I continued my basketball career at Gonzaga Prep.  I also played competitive soccer until high school but my long lived passion was dancing competitively tap, jazz, hip hop and ballet since I was 4 years old.  Due to an injury in high school which required surgery, my activities came to a halt. 

I continued my education at the University of Idaho receiving an Early Childhood Development/Special Education degree which in Idaho is a dual major of pre-birth to age 8 certified in both general education and special education.  I met my husband in college at the WSU vs U of I football game. My husband started working for the family business, Metal Rollforming Systems, during summers of college and as my parents stepped out to retire, my husband Bill and my brother took over.  When we started having children I came home to be a full time mom to my circus!   I was introduced to NWCS when my oldest started preschool and we have been here ever since!  My oldest Luke is a sophomore, twins Lauryn & Carolyn, 7th grade and Cameron, 3rd Grade.  I taught at NWCS preschool briefly until Cameron was born and realized how much I have missed teaching.  I found coaching was the next best thing.  I have coached soccer since the twins were 4 years old and helped with girls basketball any year they have needed a coach!  I have coached Cameron's basketball teams for the past 4 years also.  I coached the 6th grade girls basketball team last year with an undefeated season!  

If you don't find me at a sporting event, you will hear about our next Disney trip in the works, spending time on the water wake surfing or tubing or on the ski mountains.  My side gig is a travel agent that specializes in Disney, or cruises which has allowed me to be lucky enough to show/teach my children's friends "the Disney Magic", how to get up on a surfboard, or ski down the mountain!
