Mattea Nelson
Mattea was born and raised in Montana but moved over to Spokane in 8th grade and
attended NWC graduating in 2018. In high school, she played softball, basketball and
volleyball but continued on to play collegiate softball at Whitworth University. There
she earned all-conference awards every year and Academic All- American her senior
year. Mattea completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and went on to get
her MBA at Whitworth. She loves the Lord and is very passionate about helping
others and teaching the younger generation more about sports.
Mattea currently manages at Club Pilates North Spokane and when she is not working
or coaching volleyball, she coaches softball and loves to hang out with friends and
family.
