Pete Famolaro
Spending a year in the
Pacific Northwest in the late 80's, the love for this beautiful area of our
country has never left me and our family has now returned with my family 30+
years later to live.
I graduated from San
Diego State University in 1991 and have worked as a professional biologist ever
since. I enjoy nature, but the love of my life is my wife, Kimberly, and our
nine children. Most are grown now, but we have three at NWC and are very
impressed by the school in so many ways.
In baseball, I've
coached year-round since 1999 at all youth recreational and club levels,
including high-school and American Legion. Most recently, I've coached at
Foothills Christian High School and also with Christian Sports International in
southern California. Coaching for me has been a process of continued
process of learning and applying which I then model towards players and teams I
coach. On the field we respect God, each other, and the game itself as a path
to success, win or lose.
God has opened doors for
my family and I, and we can do nothing but follow his lead, including the
blessing to coach the youth of NWC. I am so grateful for the opportunity
to serve.
