Jamie Lake
I grew up in a small town in North Idaho, where I discovered my love for running at the age of 16. It wasn’t until a college coach encouraged me that I truly tapped into my competitive side. I spent a year running at North Idaho College but had to redshirt due to a stress fracture. At 20 years old, I began racing triathlons and quickly fell in love with the sport.
Since then, I’ve completed one full marathon, countless half marathons, multiple half Ironmans, and five full Ironmans. My passion for endurance sports eventually led me into coaching. In 2022, I began coaching at NWC as the head coach for the junior high program, where I’ve enjoyed helping young athletes build confidence, discipline, and a love for movement.
Outside of coaching, you can occasionally find me working at Remi’s Cafe, where I’ve loved supporting my good friends and being part of their restaurant community. I also work as a doula from time to time and feel deeply passionate about helping women discover their inner strength through childbirth.
Most importantly, I love spending time with my husband and our three boys. Whether we’re outdoors, staying active, or simply enjoying time together, family and an active lifestyle are at the center of who I am.
